Auction Terms and Conditions

Payments & Collections

All lots can only be collected on receipt of cleared funds. Payment must be made within 7 days and clearance from site within 10 days of the auction ending. Buyers who fail to pay/collect from site will have to contact our offices where a £10 per day storage charge will be levied on all lots.

Methods of payment

Cash/ Cheque: Customers who pay by cheque or cash must have proof of identity. (See below accepted forms of I.D) Please allow 7 working days for cheques to clear.

Cash payments into our bank will not be accepted.

Cheques paid into our bank will need to bear the name of the buyer.

Credit/ Debit Card Payments – Only accepted on site and payee must have I.D (See below accepted forms of I.D) There is an added 2% Charge on Credit cards and overseas debit.

TT – Telegraphic Bank Transfer is our preferred method of payment. You will be provided with an invoice number which you will need to reference on the transfer.

Accepted forms of I.D are Passport, Driving licence, utility bills and bank statements. You will need to provide at least 2 forms of I.D in order to comply with money laundering regulations.

Item Description & Warranty

Unless stated all equipment is sold as seen and all buyers must take note of condition of the item. Buyers must also see if the item is suitable for what they are intending to use it for. All lots are described to the best of our ability and some lots will have manufacturer’s warranty. Check item description for details on the warranty. More information is available on site.
All lifting equipment will be sold untested.

VAT

Unless otherwise stated 20% VAT will be added to your successful bid. Overseas customers VAT can be refunded if a Bill of Laden is presented within 3 months of sale.

Deposit & Registration

A deposit may be required from customers not known to Myrak. You will be advised if this is needed.
When you place your first bid you will be subject to an approval process to be added to our system. Once approved you will receive a confirmation email of your bid.

Access

Access to site is at the customer’s own risk, for inspection and collection. Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed on site.
